Every 5 years, the International Team for Implantology organizes a consensus conference to review the dental literature on a topical area in implant dentistry.
The proceedings of each ITI Consensus Conference are published in a peer-reviewed journal and lay the foundations for the latest guidelines to tried and tested techniques, methodologies and materials for use in clinical practice.
This gives the clinicians high-level, evidence-based and peer-reviewed guidelines for the predictable application of treatment concepts.
This year, 100 experts met in Lisbon, Portugal, for the 7th ITI Consensus Conference.
